WE BELIEVE that there is but one true and living GOD, infinite in being and perfection, eternal, almighty, eternally existing in three Persons, of one substance, power, and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. As we find in the Westminster Confession of Faith: “The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son.”
WE BELIEVE that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error, and teach the infallible rule of faith and practice.
WE BELIEVE in GOD THE FATHER, an Infinite, personal, Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He Saves from sin and death all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
WE BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. We believe He will one day return to judge the living and the dead.
WE BELIEVE in the HOLY SPIRIT, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE that all PEOPLE are sinners who fall short of the glory of God and are therefore condemned by God’s Law, and in need of the forgiveness of sins. As such, all men everywhere are commanded to repent, and receive the salvation of the Lord through His Son, Jesus Christ. “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name, whosoever believeth in Him shall receive the remission of sins.” (Acts 10:43)
WE BELIEVE in the one true CHURCH, as established by Jesus Christ and His apostles, which consists of all people, in every nation, who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only true Head of the Church, and that the Church is His body.
WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment of the world, the eternal life and blessing of the righteous, as well as the condemnation of the wicked. We believe: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
